Building Maintenance Supervisor

Salary: £ 26,793 – £ 29,542 per annum.

St Hugh's College occupies a 14.5 acre site in north Oxford, with a wide range of buildings and gardens, providing a mix of accommodation, office, teaching and conference space. We are seeking to appoint a Building Maintenance Supervisor to join the College's Estates Department. The role is very varied and will include all types of reactive, planned and cyclical maintenance and general upkeep so candidates should therefore be optimally qualified and experienced in the management of maintenance operations and some hard facilities functions.

Housekeeping Staff

£ 9.18 per hour – various hours available including evenings and some weekends.

St Hugh's College located in a beautiful site in North Oxford, is seeking full time housekeeping staff to join its vibrant, motivated and passionate housekeeping team which delivers excellent customer service to our students, academics and also commercial guests and VIP's.

St Hugh's College is looking for permanent Scouts to join its current Housekeeping team. The successful candidates must have good communication skills and take pride in their work to ensure the highest levels of housekeeping services to all College accommodation. Hours will include some evenings and weekends, which will be agreed in advance depending on the needs of the College.

This is a role with varied duties, which will include cleaning of students and staff accommodation. You will be expected to maintain high standard of cleaning throughout all areas of the College. You will also be asked to assist with spring-cleaning accommodation at the end of each term in preparation of conferences, B & B quests and any VIP events.

You must be flexible, customer focused, approachable, professional and passionate about high standards of cleanliness, with experience within a similar customer-facing role, ideally experience as cleaner / housekeeper would be an advantage.

Casual Lodge Porters

Salary: £ 9 per hours plus holiday pay

We are seeking to recruit Casual Lodge Porters to join our Lodge team and are offering the opportunity to join our bank of casual workers. The Lodge team provides the front of house service and security for the College – this involves providing information and support to students, academics, staff and visitors in a courteous and effective way, as well as being the first point of call for incidents and emergencies.

You must have excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels; able to act without direct supervision, on your own initiative to solve day to day challenges and to act appropriately in the case of emergencies

Casual Waiting and Bar Staff

Salary: £ 9 per hour plus holiday pay

We are looking for Casual Servery / Waiting Assistant to join the current team to help in Hall and with conference events. The duties will involve clearing and setting tables, serving meals and dealing with payments. You may also be asked to assist with College functions, greeting guests, serving drinks and canapés, and taking responsibility for ensuring that guests enjoy their experience. The role will also involve some light cleaning duties.
